Thoreau led a deeply examined life\, and his writings later influenced the likes of Gandhi and Martin Luther King. Professor Richard Geldard\, whose books on Ralph Waldo Emerson and the Concord Circle examine the lasting influence of wisdom teaching\, will explain why living consciously and fully remains vital and sorely needed today. \nProfessor Richard Geldard teaches philosophy at the University of Philosophical Research and the Holmes Institute of Consciousness Studies. DESCRIPTION:Trained in classical music and jazz guitar at the Berklee College of Music\, Ernest Troost came to be a folk artist by way of an unusual path\, one that took him through the heart of America’s leading film and television studios.
