Favorite stage roles include Fraulein Kost in Cabaret\, Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda\, Natalie in Next to Normal\, Jenny in Boy\, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet\, and Shakespeare in Something Rotten. Her most prominent voice acting role featured her as FBI agent Alexandria Thoman in the New York Times podcast “The Daily”\, acting alongside Broadway alum Stephen Pasquale. She is excited to expand her menagerie of voices in this show. \nRebecca Brown Adelman’s local acting credits include: Jane in Richard Nelson’s Sweet and Sad\, Agatha in Jen Silverman’s The Moors both with Performing Arts of Woodstock\, Sarah Bernhardt in Theresa Rebeck’s Bernhardt/Hamlet at the Center for Performing Arts Rhinebeck\, Julia Gibbs in Our Town and Tess in Jordan Harrison’s Marjorie Prime both at the Phoenicia Playhouse. Beyond acting\, Rebecca is an applied theatre practitioner\, writer\, director\, and improviser. While living in Colorado\, she was a longtime ensemble member of improvisational theatre companies Playback Theatre West and One Act. She is the co founder of a theatre for social change consulting company called Affinity Arts Consulting and travels around the country using theatre to facilitate dialogues and opportunities for communities to address important social justice issues. Come out for an evening of hilarious stand-up comedy. This month’s headliner is the inimitable Sherry Davey: \nSherry Davey is the mother of two daughters aged 21 (God help her) and 15. Sherry was born in the United States but raised in England. For years her family went back and forth between the two countries\, but her parents always made sure she saw American dentists regularly. Sherry’s comedic style was influenced mostly by her grandfather\, Maxwell Lapham\, who was a stand up comic and night club performer in London during the 1940’s and 50’s. \nSherry was seen most recently on NickMom’s NICKMOM NIGHT OUT \, NICKMOM ON…. & THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE PTO. She also recently appeared on NBC’s COMIX UNLEASHED\, AXS TV’S GOTHAM LIVE and TV Guide Channel’s STAND UP IN STILETTOS. Sherry is also a well-known comedy writer in the industry and has written for many TV shows most recently NickMom’s NICKMOM NIGHT OUT. She is the first American female stand up to perform in the Amman Stand Up Comedy Festival two years in a row in Amman\, Jordan. \nAbout Vicky Kuperman: \nRussian-born Vicky Kuperman has performed nationwide for over a decade and was named one of Huffington Post’s new comedians to watch. Her comedy albums “When I Could Feel” and “All Good!” are in regular rotation on SiriusXM\, and her book “How to Spy on Your Neighbor” was top 10 in political-humor on Amazon. She just recorded her third album for Audible’s Comedy Label “Rooftop Comedy\,” a collaboration with comics Joe DeVito and Kyle Ocasio\, to be released fall of 2018. \nVicky is a regular panelist on John Fugelsang’s “Tell Me Everything” and has appeared on Nickmom TV. Her episode of the “Maxim Comedy Showcase” has the most views of any in the series.
