A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Catskill Neighbors\, a non profit that helps the elderly of Shandaken. Phoenicia is a hamlet within the town of Shandaken. These Peace Poles are on display throughout Phoenicia for the summer of 2024. This silent auction runs for the month of August! \nThis is your opportunity to bring home a one-of-a-kind project made by locals within the Phoenicia area with funds going to Catskill Neighbors. We hope to be included on the Peace Poles international list!\n\nhttps://www.32auctions.com/PhoeniciaPeacePole2024\n\n\nThe International Peace Pole Project was founded in Japan over 50 years ago. It has spread to close to 200 countries\, with over 200\,000 Peace Poles placed around the world. \nHelping to spread the universal message of Peace far and wide. A meeting place of the heart\, bringing together all faiths\, backgrounds and cultures to embrace the oneness of our planetary family. \nWe have been working on the Phoenicia Peace Pole Project with 24 wonderful people helping. DESCRIPTION:When: May 8th 11am-1:30pm\nWhere: Parish Hall – Main Street Phoenicia\nWho: All mothers – with or without children in attendance\nFundraising aspect: \n     Phoenicia Food Pantry/Phoenicia Farmers Market/PBA will all get a portion of the following;\n        50/50 raffle\n        $5 suggested donation to attend\n        Silent auction\nWhat else:\n    We will provide light snacks\, tea\, raffles\, crafts and music.\n    Ask that everyone wear a fun hat (similar to a Kentucky Derby hat)\n    The event will end no later than 1:30pm and attendees can walk to the Phoenicia Farmers Market for the end of their opening day outdoors. From there we will go to the Phoenicia Arts & Antiques for a silent auction beginning at 2pm.\n     Candle prize for one person at each table.\n     $50 gift card for one attendee winner.
