DESCRIPTION:July 31 – A House for Hermit Crab \nThis will be the SECOND in a series of 6 readtivity events!\nJoin librarian Christina for a FREE read aloud and hands-on art and crafting activity!\nThis event will be taking place at The Woodland Playhouse located at 5571 Route 28\, Phoenicia\, NY. 3:00 to 4:00pm \nWe will be reading “A House for Hermit Crab” by Eric Carle and crafting with attendees afterward. You will receive markers and shells to create your own perfect shell house. Each shell is unique – just as each person\, leaf\, and hermit crab are – and you will make them even more unique with this fun activity! \nEach participant will receive a “readtivity” bag including:\n– “A House for Hermit Crab” by Eric Carle\n– A medium sized seashell\n– 3 permanent markers of assorted colors\nThis 6 week series is sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Library System through an Early Literacy grant.\nYou may join in one readtivity\, several\, or all! Be sure to check on our website and Facebook page for more details. \nNO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!\nParents are requested to stay with their child(ren) during these events.\nQuestions?
