This will be the LAST in a series of 6 readtivity events!
Join librarian Christina for a FREE read aloud and hands-on art and crafting activity!
This event will be taking place at The Woodland Playhouse located at 5571 Rt. 28 in Phoenicia. 3:00 to 4:00pm
We will be reading “The Day The Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt and creating with attendees afterward. Children will receive their own box of crayons and a small notebook where they are encouraged to create their own drawings (inspired by the art by Drew Daywalt) and write letters and adventures from their own box of crayons.
Each participant will receive a “readtivity” bag including:
– “The Day The Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt
– 1 box of 24 crayons
– 1 small notebook
This 6 week series is sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Library System through an Early Literacy grant.
You may join in one readtivity, several, or all! Be sure to check on our website and Facebook page for more details.
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
Parents are requested to stay with their child(ren) during these events.
