Steam Locomotive Ride

The Catskill Mountain Railroad is proud to announce it’s hosting of Steam Locomotive Viscose No. 6 on Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th 2016. Ride the Esopus Creek Scenic Train as it is pulled by a live steam locomotive just like in the 1940s, when New York Central Railroad used them on a daily basis. Viscose No. 6, an 0-4-0 Locomotive built in 1925, will be operating from Mt. Tremper NY on NYS Route 28 with five departures a day.
Trains depart Mt. Tremper at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:30 PM. Ticket prices are Adults: $20.00, Children 2-11 years old: $12.00, and Senior’s and Military: $18.00.
