Saturday, 3/19 @ 12:30pm – 3:00pm: Catskills Fishing Fever Forums: Frank Mele  In celebration of their 20^th anniversary, the Jerry Bartlett Angling Collection presents the first in a series of lively discussions about the history of fishing in the Catskills. This month’s panel will commemorate fisherman, author and activist Frank Mele (1911-1996). Hear Mele’s friends and family discuss Frank’s life and well-known writings, his contribution to the origin of Catskill Waters and the epic campaign for increased water releases in the Catskill system in the 1970s. The series is made possible with funds from the Catskill Watershed Corporation in partnership with New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
