Joan Wulff, “the first lady of fly fishing” will be our next speaker in the Sporting Legends of the Catskills series, on October 27 from 1-3.

Hooked on fishing at age 5-6, she rose to prominence as a National Casting Champion from 1943-1960. In the late 1970s, she and her husband, Lee Wulff, moved to Lew Beach on the Upper Beaverkill and opened the Wulff School of Fly Fishing. As an author, mentor, and teacher, Joan’s contribution to fly fishing is truly awe-inspiring. Join us to hear the story of her life and career in the angling world. and celebrate her many accomplishments.
