________________
For three weeks only, a story will emerge as children and their caregivers wind along the Brookside Wander nature trail. Read The Grouchy Frog, by local author Moma, while exploring the Emerson’s native plant preserve. Each page of the book is mounted on a sign, allowing participants to read the story at their own pace as they stroll along the path, encouraging kids and adults to read together, be active, and enjoy nature all at the same time! Come Saturday June 21 at 2pm to meet the author, Moma herself!
Note that this is a self-guided activity that is open to the public free of charge from dawn to dusk.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
