It’s Saturday night, so it’s time to have fun! Come out for an evening of hilarious stand-up comedy. This month’s headliner is the inimitable Sherry Davey:
Sherry Davey is the mother of two daughters aged 21 (God help her) and 15. Sherry was born in the United States but raised in England. For years her family went back and forth between the two countries, but her parents always made sure she saw American dentists regularly. Sherry’s comedic style was influenced mostly by her grandfather, Maxwell Lapham, who was a stand up comic and night club performer in London during the 1940’s and 50’s.
Sherry was seen most recently on NickMom’s NICKMOM NIGHT OUT , NICKMOM ON…. & THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE PTO. She also recently appeared on NBC’s COMIX UNLEASHED, AXS TV’S GOTHAM LIVE and TV Guide Channel’s STAND UP IN STILETTOS. Her credits include: Nick At Nite’s SEARCH FOR THE FUNIEST MOM IN AMERICA Seasons 1 & 2; Comedy Central’s TOUGH CROWD WITH COLIN QUINN and PREMIUM BLEND; Tru TV; and NBC’s THE TODAY SHOW. She can also be seen frequently as a guest on the Fox News Channel’s RED EYE. Sherry is also a well-known comedy writer in the industry and has written for many TV shows most recently NickMom’s NICKMOM NIGHT OUT. She is the first American female stand up to perform in the Amman Stand Up Comedy Festival two years in a row in Amman, Jordan.
About Vicky Kuperman:
Russian-born Vicky Kuperman has performed nationwide for over a decade and was named one of Huffington Post’s new comedians to watch. Her comedy albums “When I Could Feel” and “All Good!” are in regular rotation on SiriusXM, and her book “How to Spy on Your Neighbor” was top 10 in political-humor on Amazon. She just recorded her third album for Audible’s Comedy Label “Rooftop Comedy,” a collaboration with comics Joe DeVito and Kyle Ocasio, to be released fall of 2018.
Vicky is a regular panelist on John Fugelsang’s “Tell Me Everything” and has appeared on Nickmom TV. Her episode of the “Maxim Comedy Showcase” has the most views of any in the series. In her comedy, she talks about everything from her Russian Family, World Travel, and marrying a younger guy, to her favorite topic: dogs.
She just got back from a three-week military tour for Armed Forces Entertainment. She entertained troops on 15 military bases and five countries across Europe and it was one of the greatest honors of her life.
She recently co-starred in The Vagina Monologues at The Aventura Art & Culture Center, The Boca Blackbox and Westside Comedy Club with Vanessa Hollingshead, Stacey Prussman, Nicky Sunshine, Christine Barclay and Gina Savage.
About Max Cohen:
Originally from the scenic suburbs of Maryland, Max has performed his unique brand of self-deprecating yet tasteful and hilarious comedy at clubs from Seattle to South Africa. Finally making his home in New York City, he brings the confusions and bewilderments of his life from the family dinner table to stages such as the Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and Stand Up NY.
He was a semifinalist in The Great Long Island Laugh Off and published in “Urbasm” magazine. Max has appeared in the New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival, Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, the SENE Film, Music & Arts Festival, and the Key West Comedy Festival.
He is a regular guest on John Fugelsang’s “Tell Me Everything” on SiriusXM, and his debut comedy album, “Operation: Pastrami Sandwich,” is available wherever you get your music.
