Rekindling Joy: Three Elegant Tools

Joy has the power to heal, enrich, energize, cancel out the bad stuff and give us back our full measure of delight. It is natural and always available – but how do we access it? How can we make joy a daily practice? In this fun, hands-on mini-workshop, poet and author Carol Bean will introduce us to the methods outlined in her book, The Tender Heart of Joy: Tools for Awakening Your Full Measure of Delight.  We will learn about the relationship between Presence, Energy, and Joy; how to work with Obstacles; and the 3 triggers that give us immediate access to joy. For reasons that will become apparent, please wear soft-soled shoes. Registration is requested, but not required.
